SYLVAIN TORNARE
Carequest was born from the passion of a young marketing student. After studying in Switzerland at the University of St. Gallen and various internships and projects in the automotive industry, Sylvain Tornare decided to follow his dream and found Carequest.
Sylvain was born near Gruyères. He has always had a passion for cars. After graduating from the Collège du Sud in Bulle, he left his home region for St.Gallen, where he obtained a Bachelor's degree in business management and a Master's degree in marketing. During his studies, he started to look into the automotive market more seriously and seized every opportunity to get involved. After 6 months in Singapore and participating in a project to market electric vehicles, Sylvain returned to Switzerland before moving to Stuttgart, where he worked in business development for Porsche. On his return, he also contributed to a research project with the Swiss car manufacturer MORAND Cars SA. This convinced him that he was meant to pursue a career in the automotive industry.
The idea for Carequest was born after Sylvain was asked several times for car buying advice. He also heard many stories of bad experiences. Sylvain is convinced that buying a car should be an enjoyable experience for everyone, whether they are an enthusiast or not. So he decided to offer his expertise to remove all obstacles and ensure a smooth experience.
